Over the years Apex has had the opportunity to be involved in a number of alternative energy projects.
Apex has been involved in numerous cogeneration projects:

• Feasibility, (3 gas plants, 1 oil and gas processing facility, sugar processing plant, ethanol, shingle roofing plant)
• Economic evaluation (all installations)
• Design, and procure (1 gas plant)
• Installation (1 gas plant)

Apex has also been involved in wind energy. It has conducted feasibility and evaluation studies as well as economic evaluations.
Apex was also involved in the detailed study of the feasibility of an ethanol project in Canada. Due diligence of the equipment and facility was done. Engineering design on a preliminary basis was done as well as a full process and project evaluation.
Apex also has extensive experience in unconventional oil and gas. Apex has worked on heavy oil and oil sands projects as well as shale gas, coal bed methane and tight gas.
